AERONAUTICS AND SPACE (COSAC)
COSAC (for COmité Sectoriel Aérospatial de Certification) was created on the initiative of the GIFAS Quality Commission in 1979. It organises, manages and coordinates the certification of operators who test all parts intended for the aerospace industry, for both production and maintenance purposes.
It has seven COFREND Approved Examination Centres, including two that offer the dual certification (according to EN 4179/NAS410 and ISO 9712).
