The 51st Annual « Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation - QNDE» conférence will be held in Denver, Colorado USA, July 22–24, 2024 (https://event.asme.org/QNDE).
Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation, as a field of endeavor, which is a highly interdisciplinary that involves the use of various techniques to characterize materials and to detect both manufacturing and service related anomalies in materials and structures which are important to safety in essentially all industries. The Annual Review is a meeting in which both advances in fundamental knowledge (Physics, Material Science, Mechanics, Signal Processing, Data science,…) and new engineering applications in several measurement technologies (acoustics and vibration, eddy currents, X-rays, thermography, Optics, among others) are reported and discussed. For more than four decades, the QNDE Conference has been identified as the world's leading research/engineering conference in this specialized engineering field.
The conference addresses the following sessions and events:
We invite you to submit an abstract for the Session "NDE for Civil Infrastructure".
This Session aims to bring together researchers working in the various fields of NDE of Materials and structures in the field of Civil Infrastructure and provide a forum for sharing recent advances in the field. Theoretical, computational and experimental contributions are welcome. The goal of this issue is to share the recent progress and new findings in the infrastructure NDE fields. Novel preliminary results and case studies are also of interest of this issue. We appreciate contributions that aim at highlighting physical compréhension of the phenomena or introducing novel experimental approaches and potential applications.
The actual deadline for Abstract Submission is January 15, 2024. Please specify the Session in your submission.
