The OPafend, created in November 2013, comprises some fifty players from the world of NDT training and professionals around a main objective of enhancing and promoting the brand image of NDT professions through suitable training courses.
The missions assigned to OPafend to achieve this goal involve:
Listing existing national training courses, a crucial stage in assessing the balance between courses on offer and needs for NDT skills expressed by our companies;
Building a complete initial training programme for young people to acquire skills;
Promoting on-going training courses for an adult audience in reconverting or updating skills;
Publicising and promoting the NDT professions, as additional training and diplomas are only successful when there is a clear perception of the need, both by our professionals and by young people deciding on their career path.
